Baby clothes - babies with attitude

For parents who wanted to dress their children to reflect similar taste, finding the right clothing was limited to the frilly, pastel dresses for girls, and blue sporty outfits for boys. Fortunately, there has emerged a new sort of baby clothes. Attitude is the only way to describe them, and you will find quirky expressions to make adults chuckle, such as "sucker," "drama queen," "future democrat/republican," "toothless," "the boss," "spoiled," "gotta love me," "boob man," "colic blows," or "illiterate," coupled with goofy pictures printed on everything from onesies, to bibs, to hats, and pajamas. With these baby clothes the attitude is one of clever humor. This demand for the light-hearted collections are popular for baby showers and birthdays, also spurred from adults wanting their babies to have what they consider hip clothing to match their own. They can be silly or shockingly real statements to which parents can relate. There are even clothing themes, featuring "rebel," "diva," "princess," or "hot babe," with styles that dress up or dress down baby and capture your attention, bringing a smile to your face.

These creative baby clothes are sold on several websites online, as well as in catalogues and in department stores, outlet malls, or the occasional craft fairs. Sewing and craft stores have iron-ons with sayings you can add to virtually any baby clothes, or you could even purchase puff paints to create your own sayings. Prices are as varied as are the phrases available on the clothing, ranging from under $10 to over $40.
