Baby Comforter or Crib Bedding
Finding the Right Baby Comforter or Crib Bedding
Every parent wants to create an inviting and comfortable crib for their newborn. However, caution should be observed when buying a baby comforter or crib bedding. Most new parents are unaware of the potential hazards in baby bedding and should educate themselves in order to protect their infant. Most infants need only a soft fitted sheet on the mattress and then a light blanket over their bodies, if anything at all. The temperature in the baby's room should be such that the infant is comfortable without blankets or comforters.
The reason this is important is because the baby could move significantly during the night and become entangled in a blanket, cover its head and/or suffocate. Many parents think of creating a comfortable bed for their infant like they enjoy, however this should be reserved until the baby is older. Many baby stores sell comforters, blankets and the like for decorating nurseries. And while it is ok to buy these things, be sure to sue it as a decoration and not as part of the actual bedding. Young infants do not need a lot of things in the crib with them that could be potentially hazardous to them. Always exercise caution with your infant and the bedding you use. Also, wash the baby comforter or crib bedding in a very mild detergent or a detergent designed specifically for infants. Using a strong or harsh detergent could create an allergic reaction or breakout in your infant. Providing a baby comforter or crib bedding for you infant is not difficult and should always be kept to a minimum and washed in a detergent for sensitive skin. If you follow this advice your infant will certainly benefit.
