Baby oil burns
Baby oil can treat burns
As you probably know, baby oil can be used to soothe diaper rash and other minor skin irritations quite easily. But baby oil and burns? A quick fix for chicken pox or rashes can be made by combining cornstarch, baby oil and a small amount of water. Turn these ingredients into paste, and use it as a topical ointment. By tapping and patting the paste onto the affected area, you'll halt the spread of the itch. The reason baby oil fixes burns is because of several reasons:
1. Baby oil softens, coats, protects and moisturizes baby's skin.
2. Baby oil can relieve chapped skin and reduce redness
Here are some tips to keep your baby from getting diaper rash again:
1.Change diapers regularly
2.When you clean your baby's bottom, make sure you pat it
thoroughly dry
3.Apply a small fingerful of ointment to prevent additional
irritation
4.Temporarily use a diaper that is slighter larger than normal
Interesting fact: did you know baby oil is also an effective treatment for the removal of tar? It's true. One of the components of baby oil is liquid paraffin. This is a hydrophobic molecule that dissolves tar. Another little-known usage for baby oil is to combine it with eucalyptus oil. When you rub the concotions into your stiff or sore muscles, you'll soon feel a warm glow and be ready to exercise again. Who knows, maybe you'll stumble on a completely new use for baby oil
that will help out a bunch of other moms all over the world!
