Creative Favors for Baby Showers

Planning a baby shower can be a difficult task if you are new to the whole "shower scene." One of the hardest parts to planning is finding creative favors and supplies for the baby shower. The favors don't have to be elaborate, just something cute for the guest to take home. Some simple ideas for favors and supplies for baby shower:

A rubber ducky printed cellophane bag with candy in it and tag that says: "Sharing a treat with someone sweet."

Get sticks in baby colors like blue or pink and tie a ribbon on them with a cute decoration and include a note saying: "Here is a treat for being so sweet."

Decorative soaps make a cute favor. They come in shapes like yellow ducks, bears or umbrellas. Include a tag that says: "A squeaky clean shower gift for you."

Pez dispensers make a great favor also; Winnie the Pooh and friends is a good choice for the Pez toy. Put the dispenser and a couple of rolls of candy in a bag with a bow; include a tag that reads, "Remember you are still a kid at heart."

Creating a cute shower favor doesn't have to be tricky. Use some of the ideas listed above or come up with your own, but have fun doing it. Baby shower decorations can be purchased at any party supply store, drug store or department store. The dcor for the shower can be something simple like crepe paper and balloons, or pick a theme and decorate accordingly. You don't have to spend a fortune on favors and supplies for the baby shower, stay within your budget and make simplicity work for you.
