Greatest baby shower ideas and favors
Making Baby Showers Fun
I recently had a baby and one thing I was not looking forward to was my baby shower. I know that sounds awful, but I had been to so many boring showers that I was not even looking forward to my own. Of course the presents sounded nice, but it was filling the other hours that worried me. Turns out my baby shower was actually fun thanks to some of the greatest baby shower ideas and favors I had ever heard of recently.
One game we played was a twist on the classic drinking game, 'I never'. Everyone got a handful of pennies and when it was your turn you came up with something you had never done and if someone there had done that thing they put some pennies in the piggy bank they passed around. It was a fun game to learn about people, plus in the end the mom to be gets to keep the piggy bank and the pennies for their child.
In another game we played, you place several secret items in a bag and pass it around. Each guest feels in the bag for one minute and writes down their guesses of all the items in the bag. The person that gets the most items right wins. As the mom-to-be I received all the secret items at the end of the shower. They were great items like mittens, a hat, toy keys, and other items that came in useful.
People always wonder what kind of favors to give at the end of a baby shower. You could have little bags of potpourri with either blue or pink ribbons tied around them. Other favors varied from little baby bears to little chocolates.
Whether you use these ideas or not, I hope you enjoy your baby shower. Think of more games and favors, they could possibly end up being some of the greatest baby shower ideas and favors that other moms-to-be will start using too.
