New innovation in stroller design

The new stokke stroller from popular Norwegian company Stokke is raising more than just eyebrows. It's actually raising the babies who ride in them up to previously unheard of levels, closer to their erstwhile moms and dads. The stokke stroller is perfect for city dwellers (which explains why it seems so popular throughout Europe), because one of its main selling points is that it can fit in subways and is easy to travel with on the sidewalk. As an added bonus, babies inside are sitting up so high that the car exhaust that would normally hit them in the face is completely eliminated.

If you decide to stop at a sidewalk cafe, there's no need to bundle your baby into a separate high chair, because the stokke stroller rolls straight up to the table at the perfect height. (The height is adjustable, too, so moms, dads, and tabletops of all sizes will be accommodated.) Some parents seem to think there is little compatibility with car seats, and / or that the bags and containers that come with this particular stroller are not large enough to be of much use. Other parents worry that while it's ideal for urban and city settings, particularly in Europe, moms in American suburbia who only take their babies through the mall and are used to carrying an entire nursery in their pram will feel stifled. It's worth checking out this innovative stroller to see if it fits your personal needs, though, because there's nothing else quite like it on the market at the moment.
