Toddler Angel Costume
How to Make a Toddler Angel Costume
If you are like many parents, you want your toddler's Halloween costume to be perfect in all aspects from fit to design and color. If your toddler has her mind set on an angel costume, then finding the perfect toddler angel costume could be a challenge. Often times, you have an idea in your head of what the costume will look like, and finding this exact costume for sale in your local store is all but impossible. However, there is an option for creating that perfect toddler angel costume that meets your expectations and will make your daughter feel like the angel she really is. You might be wondering what option this could possibly be, and it is none other than creating the costume yourself. It does not matter that you are not a seamstress or highly creative, you can still do it.
You already have an idea of what you want the angle costume to look like, or else your toddler has an idea of what she wants it to look like. Go together to a fabric store and pick out the perfect fabric for the angel's dress. Making the traditional dress might be fine if you are a good seamstress, but if not, just buy a large square of fabric, cut a hole in the middle for the child's head and it will float over their body very angel like. Next, buy some glitter or silver garland and some poster board to make the wings. Measure the board against
your child's body to make sure it is proportionate. Then, trace some wings, cut them out and decorate! If this sounds too difficult, then there are generally angel wings for sale in many stores and are inexpensive. Now, your toddler angel costume is ready for its debut.
